About this deal
For those who want to read this in trade paperback, these are all of the ones which involve World War Hulk. I’m looking for a particular Hulk comic that would’ve come out in the late 70s/early 80s–hard to pin down the exact year, but I got it around 1980/1981, when I was 9, and had it for a few years until it was lost or stolen.

To find the story dealing with the events at the end of Indestructible Hulk, you need to jump to Hulk: Banner DOA.For some that might be quite daunting, especially if you just want a quick read or don’t want to track down every comic. After a brutal battle between the Hulk and the Fantastic Four, Earth’s greatest heroes decide that for the good of all, they must shoot the Hulk into space! That story makes the argument that, really, Banner never left – because The Hulk is not only indestructible, but immortal! He became the Jekyll/Hyde of the Marvel Universe, two “men” in one body, transforming from the mild-mannered bespectacled physicist into the gray-skinned monster named “the Hulk” when he loses control.
