About this deal

Well observed, and clearly drawing on the authors experience of presenting a pottery show, with one exception, the men do rather badly. It took me a while to realise the significance of the title, as most of the women are literally 'thrown' by their discoveries.

Jameela: all she's ever done is work hard, and try her best. Why won't life give her the one thing she really wants? The inhabitants of the Inventor’s Housing Estate keep themselves to themselves. There are the friendly ‘Hellos’ when commutes coincide and the odd cheeky eye roll when the wine bottles clank in number 7’s wheelie bin, but it’s not exactly Ramsay Street. If like me (and I imagine, Sara) you love The Great Pottery Throwdown then you will definitely enjoy this book. A nice easy read I finished it in two sittings on the same day. All the characters male and female had depth and realism and I felt emotionally invested in their storylines. Sara Cox to contribute to a children’s story to promote a new charity directory number 118 520", Charities Aid Foundation, 19 February 2008. Retrieved 20 February 2005. The story was getting increasingly ridiculous and was really resembling a soap opera more than a well-written novel, so that's why I've decided to finish off here. I won't leave a star review, because it doesn't seem right if I haven't even read to the end.

In 2017, Cox appeared on Dara O Briain's Go 8 Bit and was on Steve's team in the show. She lost the episode in terms of points. [29] On 4 June 2017, Cox co-presented the One Love Manchesterbenefit concert special and British television special with Ore Oduba. He sat up – ‘I’d like,’ he said, slowly stroking his chin as if about to reveal an earth-shattering prophecy ‘to get this beauty into position before unwrapping her.’

Celebrity novels can always raise an eyebrow but Cox has shown she can certainly spin a good yarn and I for one was thoroughly entertained here. Sara Cox has used her experience presenting The Pottery Throw Down to produce this great book about a group of strangers brought together by a pottery class at their local community centre. On 17 February 2008, Cox presented her last show for six months before leaving for maternity leave to have her second child. Annie Mac presented the show during her absence until Cox's return in September 2008. Cox and Annie Mac both later covered for Jo Whiley who was on maternity leave between 29 September 2008 to 20 February 2009. [ citation needed] Following Whiley's return, Cox returned to weekends to present a Sunday mid-morning show, broadcasting between 10:00 and 13:00.
