The IGTC season is a 5 event season sponsored by Pirelli. It takes all of the teams and drivers to 5 continents with a race on each. ACC includes 43 different cars from a range of different car manufacturers. These cars are split across a variety of disciplines. There are GT3 cars, GT4 cars, GTC cars and Touring Cars in the game.

Although this solution would be a bit of hassle, another option would be to add VR functionality to the PS4 version and have it running exclusively to PS5, and the PS5 extra horse power would run through (and probably would be easier to maintain 60fps over a more powerful version anyways). I understand such a request from a small sized studio is a bit out there, so that might not be feasible to do. The Fanatec CSL Elite was often looked at as one of the best sim racing wheels for a very long time. But if you have a PS5 or Xbox Series X/S, know that it’s just that little bit better. Assetto Corsa Competizione is well and truly committed to being a sim, and in numerous ways that’s at the expense of widespread appeal. But for those seeking authentic, no-frills racing action, there’s plenty to like.

If you already own a ClubSport V2, unless you are after much more power that is on offer from the high-end direct drive wheel bases, you could carry on racing with the ClubSport V2 for years to come. Needless to say, with these upgrades, Assetto Corsa Competizione is simply a much more enjoyable game on next-gen consoles. It’s just a shame that there appears to be some teething issues, at least on PS5. Players have reported a wide range of issues, from stats and progress not being carried over correctly to steering wheel issues, and we ourselves have suffered numerous crashes upon attempting to start events. It puts a bit of a dark cloud over your time with the game, though 505 Games is actively working to put things right. The dynamic damping setting will change the weight of your racing wheel. I know this is a long shot, but we need a full VR racing game on the console and GT7 is a ways off (and ACC is more sim heavy anyways, so having it with VR feels like a must) Assetto Corsa Competizione is a truly impressive, detailed and authentic hardcore simulation racing game.
