Always eager to get my hands on anything by Jeffrey Archer, I devoured the latest book in the William Warwick series. These all seem to somehow be brought together into one overlapping story that is complex, yet easy to follow. A set of well-honed plot lines keeps the story electric and provides some forks in the narrative progression, keeping the reader on the edge of their seats throughout. Meanwhile ex-undercover operative Ross Hogan is charged with a very sensitive responsibility as he becomes the close protection officer of one of the royal family.

Anything less than the utmost dedication to duty in the protection of the Royal family, will not be tolerated. Her protection and Warwick’s involvement in that becomes the main story and provides the fast-paced action the series has been crying out for. but because it blazed new ground for those of us who believe provocative fiction is more than just an explicit cover. My preference, when providing a useful review, is not to repeat the back cover blurb/synopsis - there are plenty around - just to provide my thoughts on the book and whether or not I enjoyed the journey.Another enjoyable part was the antics of Faulkner’s lawyer, Booth Watson, to abscond with his client’s fortune.
