Ideally suited for light duty activities such as the installation of new work surfaces, boxing around baths or for fixing panelling to alter décor appearances I've had/owned/used and killed cheaper power tools and I've come to the conclusion over the years that cheap tools, specially those that require power of some sort are cheap for a reason. They don't last or the product is updated in such a way that you cannot get parts for which means you have to throw it away and buy another cheap power tool.

Over the years I've always stayed away from named products like Makita, Dewalt and other big named tools due to the excess they charge for there products.
