There is no limit to the number to be honored with this award. It can also be conferred on foreign citizens as an honorary award. It does not carry any title. The character development is splendid. Alfie is so uncertain of himself but when he comes into his own it gives you such a victorious feeling. Alfie is the real star of this book, of course there are other characters, but you really root for him the most and he pulls through, to say the least.

The finale involved Kitana leading a rebellion from Outworld against Kahn. The most notable aspect of the show was that it provided the debut of Quan Chi, who would go on to become a major antagonist in the game series. The two main characters, Alfie and Hayley couldn't be more different but the friendship they form is completely believable. Add to that the contrasting personalities of Brian and LC and you have scenarios and dialogue that are both funny and moving. Kabal's unmasked face is based on his "Freaky Face" Fatality. Additionally, his pre-disfigured face is also shown in the show.My son is 7 and so I'll probably save this for him to read in a few years' time but I can imagine him absorbing information such as the details of the Coronation and going to look them to see if they're true! (Wahoo - free history lesson. Win win!) Komodai is Reptile's original name in the show. Jax actually removes his metal implants in one episode ("Acid Tongue"), thus dispelling the notion for many fans that they were permanently attached.

Note: This episode is the third part of a crossover storyline that spanned the other shows in the USA Action Extreme Team lineup. The crossover began in episodes of Street Fighter ("The Warrior King") and Savage Dragon ("Endgame"), and concluded in Wing Commander Academy ("Recreation"). [2] Guest Voices: Neil Ross (Shang Tsung), John Vernon (Shao Kahn), Peter Renaday (Shadow Priest)Shao Kahn resurrects Shang Tsung and entrusts him with a sphere that controls the elements of nature (fire, wind, water and earth). Shang Tsung is the most suitable person to possess the sphere, because the more malicious the master is, the stronger the magic sphere becomes. The old enemy of good organizes different natural disasters and weakens Rayden. The Earth Warriors are trapped, so nobody can help the God of Thunder. Thus, he is the one who has to decide the fate of the world. But good, even though it grew weak, is stronger than the evil even when strengthened with the forces of magic. Having defeated Shang Tsung, Rayden gets rid of the sphere by sending it into space.

The book has a fantastic blend of superhero, mystery, royalty and humour. It doesn’t overdo any of these it has just the perfect balanced amount of each. And honestly this book is funny! Not in a try-hard way either. It handles quite heavy topics without being weighed down too much. In the ancient Citadel of Monarch City, the King calls to arms the finest Heroes to defend against a Darkness that engulfs the land. You and your allies must embark on a journey to defend the countryside, repair the tainted lands, and defeat the four creature factions before any of them enter the City. And they approach from all sides! Fast populating Orcs! Fierce Dragons! Undead that bring Fear! And Demons! All tainting the land in their wake. There are several paths to defeat, but only one path to victory, and only the most valiant Hero will be named King's Champion. The writing is neat, there is some 'hard' part, and I kinda hate reading that part, but goes past that, it successfully able to kept me occupied reading it. The show focuses on a group of warriors assembled by Raiden (spelled Rayden in the series) to defend Earthrealm from invaders who entered through portals from various other dimensions. The assembled warriors included Liu Kang, Kurtis Stryker, Sonya Blade, Jax, Kitana, and Sub-Zero, with Nightwolf functioning mostly as tech support but still entering the fray on various occasions. The warriors operated out of a hidden base from where Nightwolf and Rayden monitored portal openings; the warriors would fly dragon-shaped jets to deal with disturbances. Shao Kahn was something of an archvillain throughout the series despite appearing in only four of the series' thirteen episodes, being responsible for allowing other realms to invade Earthrealm.Although there is a little problem, As the Main Character, Alfie is inconsistent, going from one way to another with seemingly no reason. To make it worse, I think there is little motivation involved when he decides to become The Defender aside from duties. But, Hayley is an interesting character, if anything, I would not mind if there are some changes of POV at the subsequent series. John Spiers and Rachel Rubin (May 1, 2012).
