Description

The first series featured pairs. I.E. Harry Potter and his owl Hedwig or Ron Weasley with his rat Scabbers. The second series does not appear to have any type of pairing, which I like because they are now going deeper into their available people and creatures. Mystery Minis come hidden in boxes and series one was released in 2016. You don't know which figure you are getting when you buy one of these, which is where the mystery aspect comes in. There are currently 16 figures - eight characters and their eight animal counterparts. These figures are smaller than the other figures and have a completely different look. A lot of people are upset that Dobby is shown with Draco, but we all know that he was forced into slavery and had no choice but to serve the Malfoy family so this is a fair pairing. In the lead-up to the release of both Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them and Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald, Funko released a series of figures for the films. However, while there are already seven versions of Newt Scamander, three fan favorites are noticeably absent from the collection. There’s no Leta Lestrange, Theseus Scamander, or Credence. The hosts on MuggleNet’s SpeakBeasty podcast jokingly speculated that maybe they haven’t made Credence because they can’t figure out what name to put on the box. A product's "Manufacturer's Age" range on Toysrus.ca & Babiesrus.ca is provided by the product's manufacturer. This suggested age range may be based on what age range the manufacturer recommends will like the product best, or what age range is appropriate based on safety information and restrictions.

While Hermione levitating the feather is adorable, this latest wave, like those before it, has me thinking about the characters we’ve yet to see a single version of. Here is a list of characters I would love to see Funko Pop! renderings of in future waves. Toysrus.ca & Babiesrus.ca base "Our Suggested Age" ranges on these manufacturer recommendations, as well as considering which ages will enjoy the product. Such factors as a child's developmental skill set and toy popularity help determine the enjoyment levels of a product. Books-A-Million put out an exclusive Seamus Finnegan Pop!, but there is still no Dean Thomas. How can you have one without the other? We demand justice for our Muggle-born, soccer-loving friend. Griphook was there on Harry’s very first venture into the wizarding world and also re-entered the picture near the end of the series. I would love to see a Griphook Funko Pop! holding the key to Harry’s vault in one hand and a lantern in the other. There are Quidditch versions of Harry, Ron, Ginny, and Draco, but we’re missing two fearless leaders of the Gryffindor Quidditch team. Both Oliver Wood and Angelina Johnson deserve to have their likenesses preserved in lightweight plastic and paint. Funko released series 2 in the Harry Potter Mystery Minis line in the summer of 2017. Their boxes have an update look and there are new characters that haven't been seen before in miniature form.

Update: Funko is now making Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them Pop!characters, which you can see here. Most Funko vinyl figures are small, measuring just shy of 4 inches tall. This makes them perfectly sized for your shelf or display cabinet because they won't take up much space. Here is a list of the Mystery Minis and their animal/creature pairings (this list does not include exclusive minis):MuggleNet has also compiled a list of all the Harry Potter Funko Pops! with the newest additions right at the top for easy finding.
