This story is an emotional roller coaster that left me saying, “Just TALK to each other” at least a dozen times while reading, but the ending was worth it.

They are just too adorable together and I guess I’m guilty of thinking “They are Nick and Charlie” too! We take pride in offering a wide selection of used books, from classics to hidden gems, ensuring there’s something for every literary palate. However I think it handles important topics very well in a way young readers will appreciate, and more LGBT+ stories can only be a good thing. As a big fan of the Heartstopper comic and TV show I thought I would give some of the author's traditional novellas a try. He likes rugby, Formula 1, dogs, the Marvel universe, the sound felt-tips make on paper, rain and drawing on shoes.Oh and one more thing - if I have to hear one more time about how weird Nick and Charlie think they are, I might have to scream. So while I admire the cute repackaging, I can't oversee the dollar/pound signs twinkling in the publisher's eyes. i know alice is trying to expand into writing the adult genre so i assume we won't be getting much out of nick and charlie. The story came out after Solitaire in which Nick and Charlie play supporting cast in a story about Tori (Tori continues to be great here, probably my favorite character honestly) and was written before Heartstopper. Solitaire is an extraordinary novel … [Oseman] has captured her characters’ rage, humour and insecurity with aplomb.

Seriously my emotional bandwidth went from happy and cosy to sad and depressed right smack into slap happy and snug territory. The Heartstopper series focuses on Nick and Charlie while in high school, which naturally makes readers wonder what happens when Nick, who’s older than Charlie by one year, goes off to college; that question is answered in the novella Nick and Charlie. People we know usually message Charlie these days when they want to talk to either of us because I’m horrific at replying to messages.I just wish it was longer, I don’t feel like I’ll ever be fully satisfied because I love Nick and Charlie too much! The first being that I can't help but feel like there's an element of fetishisation in this novella and I'm not 100% percent able to stay unbothered by it. una breve storia che fa parte del mondo di "Heartstopper" quindi piacerà sicuramente a tutti gli amanti di questa meravigliosa graphic novel.
