These characters were very well written, even though I wanted to strangle them a time or two throughout the book. Though Blake and Theo had obstacles to overcome, they did the hard work and in the end became stronger for it.

Blake has been in love with Theo for a long time but he only ever sees her as his best friend's sister so now at the same college as Theo she decides that she needs to move on with her life. Theo thinking he can do whatever he wants and declaring his love for Blake, causing HER to lose the internship she had WORKED SO HARD TO GET, even when she told him NOT TO DO IT. This series is one of those that I’m kicking myself for leaving it on my tbr for so long but also trying to savor it. I loved their connection with the push and pull, challenging each other, as they learned to trust and break down walls.Everything was set up to be epic, even the narration and then freaking Blake and her childish attitude.

She knows what she wants both in and out of a relationship and she is not afraid to say it how it is. Don’t Let Me Go tells the story of Theo, the boy next door, and Blakely, his best friend's little sister, colliding with an inevitable attraction that was years in the making.The angst broke my heart into a million little pieces but the love between Theo and Blakely put it back together again better than before, especially with Theo's grand gesture. But the way she says at one point how “it’s always been his” makes me wonder if we really have progressed as a society. Once again she made me fall so in love with her characters, she took me through one of the best emotional roller coaster.
